Bhanu Jayanti 2021, Online Poem Recitation Competition Organised By Hamro Swabhiman - Delhi

On 11th July 2021, Under the occasion of Renowned Nepali Poet and Writer Bhanubhakta Acharya's Birthday, A Central Unit ( Delhi ) of Hamro Swabhiman Organized a poem recitation competition Online in the Nepali Language. This competition was solely for children under the age bar of two categories which are, 1. The children under the age of 15 years. 2. The children between the age of 15-25 years. The Competition was flooded with an enormous number of Talented and skillfully gifted children majorly residing in West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Manipur, Uttarakhand, and Delhi. This online competition was organized under the presence of respectful and well-known senior writer Lil Bahadur Chetri as a Chief Guest. The Judges Panel included respected individuals who are experts in their field : Shree Gyan Bahadur Chetri, Dr. Jeevan Rana, Dr. Dashrath Karel, Shree Bhupendra Adhikari, Shree Vishnu Gurud and Dr. Tek Narayan Upadhayay. The statue of Arun Kumar Rai, A Gurkha heroic martyr and a heroic son of Assam, was inaugurated at Rukmini Park in Chapakhowa Yesterday That is On 11th July 2021. On   July 11, 2016   in a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir, Hero Arun Kumar Rai Sacrificed his life for the motherland at The LOC Border. Army's 1/3 Gorkha Rifles jawan and 100 battalion of Border Security Forces (BSF), who were Manning the fence at 3 BEHAK Forest area near Jumgund in Keran Sector, intercepted heavily armed groups of militants during night around 12.30 am. After being stopped by the Officers the group of militants opened fire resulting in a battle between both sides in which an Army Jawan indentified as Naik Arun Kumar Rai sustained serious bullet injuries he was immediately evacuated to the military hospital at the frontier of the district.  The jawan struggled for his life Due to his injuries and took his last breath in the hospital bed .
